Bonney's Specialised Bulk Transport

Bonneys currently boasts around 80 tankers of all shapes and sizes, including four B-Trains and what management loosley refers to as "all sorts of odds and ends" - tankers made for very specific jobs.  Some of the tankers cart vegetable oil from the wharf to packing houses and margarine manufacturers.  Others pick up tallow from all around the country and take it to the wharf for export.  Then there are others carrying grapes, wine and milk and still more moving paint resins from Auckland to Wellington.

In addition to the tankers theres probably another 80 trailers, loaders and the like.  The variety in the gear shows in the five or six swinglifts, skeletal trailers, flat tops, container-tipping trailers, tippers used for bulk metal, others for scrap and yet another dedicated to "chicken-manure" namely carting it from chicken farms and putting it on farmland.

The HRC are a club for owners of F5000, Can Am cars, Indy cars and Formula Pacifics, we also actively encourage races for all Historic Racing cars. We also want to encourage more high profile Classic Meetings and will actively seek entries from Australia, USA, and UK. HRC will also arrange for NZ cars to travel overseas to meetings like the Sandown Meeting.

 




MG Car Club of Wellington

We are an open club, in as much as we welcome membership from MG owners and enthusiasts alike, with no fixed requirement to be a current owner of an MG, although you are very likely to become "MG infected" over time.

Victorian Historic Racing Register

The VHRR was established in 1976 to promote Historic Motor Racing in Victoria, and where possible assist with its growth throughout Australia.  Race meetings and  speed events are held though-out the year, giving owners of historic racing cars, and those interested in such vehicles, the opportunity to exercise their cars and feel the exhilaration of running such fine machinery, or just to be close by.

 




Southland Sports Car Club

Since 1948 the Southland Sports Car Club Inc. has been one of the leading Clubs in  the country.  The Club entered  the International  motor race series in 1956 with the fastest-ever motor race on a road circuit at Ryal Bush.  This led to the construction of Teretonga Park in 1957 at Sandy Point,   the second purpose-built motor racing track in New Zealand.  It was extended to its present configuration in 1966.

 

 


The Canterbury Car Club

The Canterbury Car Club was established in 1946 and was one of the principle founders of Motorsport New Zealand. It isThe largest and most active circuit owning motorsport Club in New Zealand

The club organizes of more than 50 events per season (race, trial, motorkhana, circuit sprint, drifting) including the famous Lady Wigram Trophy Race and Southern Festival of Speed SKOPE Classic events.

 

 


Historical Aviation Film Unit

The Historical Aviation Film Unit (HAFU) shoots high quality still photographs and video footage of aviation and motorsport activities (primarily) in New Zealand, and publishes the material in a variety of formats for the enjoyment of aviation and motorsport enthusiasts worldwide.
